2630 Robinwood was home to George and Caroline Lathrop in 1911, the same year it was constructed. By 1912 the house was the residence of Roy Hammon, a travel agent (salesman). The 1918 Polk City Directory tells us that the home was occupied by Jacob Gruber, the district sales manager of the Delaware Hard Fibre Company. John Gruber, a slaesman with the Electric Power Maintainance Company boarded here. | |||||
