2620 Robinwood was designed by M. M. Stophlet and was home to Charles Bennett according to the 1918 and 1921 Polk city directories.  Mr. Bennett was the vice-president and general manager of the Simmons Hardware Comapany in those years.  The Lucas County Auditor listed the consruction date of this home as 1912.
