According to the 1900 Polk City Directory, 2335 Scottwood was home to Frank Schroeder, a teller with the Ohio Savings Bank & Trust Company. William Schoeder, a bookkeeper with the Western Shoe Company, boarded here in 1900 and by the 1921 directory was listed as a roomer and the secretary-treasurer of the Western Shoe Company. The 1900, 1910, 1911 and 1912 directories listed Emma Schroeder, the widow of William H. Schroeder, as living here. Abertina Marohn was the live-in domestic in 1910. | |||||
